Apprehended Domestic and Personal Violence Orders (AVOs)
If you're in need of protection or facing an AVO application, we've got your back. An Apprehended Domestic Violence Order is designed to safeguard individuals in domestic relationships, while Personal Violence Orders protect those not in such relationships. Your Advocate Lawyers can represent you in defending the making of an order or help you navigate the application process if the police decline to apply on your behalf.

Traffic Law
Traffic law can be surprisingly complex and confusing. Losing your driver's license can impact your livelihood and personal relationships. Whether you've received an infringement notice or face more serious charges, Your Advocate Lawyers will guide you through the intricacies of traffic law and provide you with the best legal options.

Bail
After being charged with a criminal offense, bail can significantly impact your freedom. We understand the Bail Act and can assist you in seeking bail conditions or variations. Your Advocate Lawyers can advise and represent you when dealing with bail-related matters.

Coronial Inquests and Inquiries
Sam's extensive experience includes working as a Coroner's Advocate, overseeing investigations and preparing for Coronial hearings. The Coroners Court of NSW investigates sudden, unexpected, and unnatural deaths, and at times, makes recommendations to enhance public safety.

Role of Coroner: The Coroner cannot find someone guilty of a crime, but they can refer criminal matters to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Inquests and Inquiries: These proceedings determine the circumstances of a person's death or the cause of a fire, with findings and recommendations provided at the conclusion.

What We Do: Navigating the Coroner's Court can be daunting, especially while grieving. We offer independent legal advice and representation to the next of kin and individuals impacted by a person's death.

At Your Advocate Lawyers, we're committed to protecting your legal interests and providing you with the support and guidance you need during challenging times. Sam Ferguson and our team are here to advocate for you every step of the way.
